Dredging New Zealand contracts to Hobsonville Marina on an annual Basis to undertake the maintenance dredging program of 14,500 m3 within the marina basin as well as the dredging of 592 berths. In a tight working environment similar to Bayswater marina with multiple stakeholders, Dredging New Zealand work side by side marina management to ensure the contract is undertaken safely and efficiently whilst also adopting best management practices. On this project Dredging New Zealand deploys their two Sumotomo Diggers, Mina Campbell Tug and Soundcem barges, to undertake the digging and dumping of these dredging’s. The distance to the dumping ground is 90.1 nautical miles.
